Ingredients
Crust:
▢ 2⅔ cups all-purpose flour
▢ ¾ cup powdered milk
▢ 2 tablespoons sugar
▢ 1 tablespoon instant yeast
▢ 1 teaspoon salt
▢ 1½ cups warm water
▢ 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Sauce:
▢ 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
▢ 1 teaspoon sugar
▢ 1 teaspoon dried oregano
▢ ½ teaspoon garlic powder
▢ ½ teaspoon onion powder
▢ Salt and pepper, to taste
Toppings:
▢ 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
▢ ½ cup cooked ground beef or sausage (optional)
▢ Pepperoni slices (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large bowl, mix flour, powdered milk, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Add warm water and vegetable oil, stirring until a soft dough forms.
Press the dough evenly into a greased sheet pan or pizza pan.
In a bowl, mix tomato sauce, sugar, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread the sauce evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
Add ground meat or pepperoni if using.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
