Apple Pie Biscuits

Ingredients:

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

1 cup apple pie filling (chopped small)

2 tablespoons melted butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit slightly.

Spoon a small amount of chopped apple filling into the center of each biscuit.

Fold the biscuit over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.

Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar.
