Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients

2 tbsp granulated sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
8–10 fresh strawberries, hulled
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder

8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

½ cup milk

1 large egg

1 cup breadcrumbs or panko

Vegetable oil, for frying

Optional topping: powdered sugar, chocolate drizzle, or strawberry sauce

1️⃣ Prepare cheesecake filling

Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Spoon a small amount of cheesecake into each strawberry, using a piping bag or small spoon.

2️⃣ Prepare batter

Mix flour, baking powder, milk, and egg until smooth.

Pour breadcrumbs into a separate bowl.

3️⃣ Coat strawberries

Dip each stuffed strawberry into batter, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat fully.

4️⃣ Heat oil

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).

5️⃣ Fry strawberries

Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
