Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 cups diced apples (peeled)
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each fritter.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Mix the glaze ingredients until smooth, then drizzle over the warm fritters.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
