Ingredients
2 cans (20 oz each) strawberry pie filling
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
- In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture gently over the strawberry layer.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly on top — do not mix.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and the edges are bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
