Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cake Ingredients:
1 box strawberry cake mix
1 box (3 oz) strawberry Jell-O
4 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a bundt or loaf pan.
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
Fold in the drained crushed pineapple. Set aside.
In a separate large bowl, combine the cake mix, strawberry Jell-O, eggs, vegetable oil, and water.
Beat until smooth and well blended.
Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan.
Spoon the creamy filling evenly over the batter, avoiding the edges.
Pour the remaining cake batter over the filling and smooth the top.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool completely before removing from the pan.
