1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup corn

1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1 cup sour cream

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.

Drain excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning according to package directions. Set aside to cool slightly.

In a large serving bowl or trifle dish, spread the chopped lettuce evenly as the bottom layer.

Layer the seasoned ground beef over the lettuce.

Add an even layer of black beans, followed by the corn.

Spread the sour cream evenly over the layers.

Spoon the salsa gently over the sour cream.

Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top.

Finish with diced tomatoes and sliced black olives.
