Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Press the dough evenly into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but still soft.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

Tips:

Use room temperature butter for easier creaming and a smoother dough texture.
